How can something so small produce something of great significance? ”

As mentioned in the story above, in the beginning, the famous Chinese writer Li Bo struggled with grasping the concept of mountains existing within the tiny mustard seed. However, Something equally as great, existed within the realms of his own mind; hence giving him the title of “Li of Ten Thousand Volumes“.

Let us take time to explore this concept more, by exploring the many cycles of life…

Children, our youth, are the greatest example of this. Although they are small and somewhat fragile, they have almost an unlimited supply of energy. In fact, many adults struggle to handle the amount of energy that they display on a daily bases. It becomes too much for us to handle at times, yet it is so pure and giving.

Also they have an extreme amount of imagination & creativity. A child naturally understands the freedom and expression of the Tao.

Are they not filled with gratitude? Are they not forgiving? Is this not of great significance?

It is only after we reach adulthood that life starts to shrink the beauty that lies within our hearts. We must not let it be so.

“ Our youth are much like the rivers of life, ever flowing , forever giving.”

Our Adulthood is equally as significant, as all of the energy we had in our youth has been honed and channeled into our purpose. In this phase of life, we are set out into the world to make a difference. Once again, great significance lies within this.

Think of all of the great mentors, coaches, and entrepreneurs that has made a difference in the world. Tony Robbins, Echart Tolle, Elon Musk, Lao Tsu, & Jaggi Vasudev are to name a few.

Some people may say, “ there is no way I can even come close to being as great as these guys are.”

Remember, greatness can come from the smallest things. If you were to give the right advice to someone that is on the verge of committing suicide, would that not be significant? Is the nature of this very blog post, in the smallest shape of form, not filled with greatness?

The only thing that keeps you from realizing how great you truly are is perspective. You have essentially taken on the voices and criticisms of others that do not serve you. As a result, your mind have been turned against yourself.

It is time to let go of the sack filled with rotten potatoes, and realize your true greatness -see related blog post

Forgiveness is the key to salvation, and ultimately, most can achieve their true dreams by simply taking action & removing the chains wrapped around their hearts. Once they are removed, you will see that the gates to the dam is now open, and the Tao can once again flow through you as it was always meant to.
